Meet the Organizers

Nick Castellino

Meet Nick Castellino, one of the three masterminds of Wheels, Wings, & Fashion! He currently holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the Columbia Southern University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Technology. After great success in the corporate aviation sector, he entered the investment world during 2017 in the private equity space. Mr. Castellino holds the Series 7 (General Securities Rep) and Series 63 (NASAA-Uniform State Law Exam).

His areas of expertise were in private equity finance, and aviation sales. He is qualified on 9 different jet aircraft as a pilot. Flying has now become a hobby as the investment world is now the main focus. Mr. Castellino is also very involved in the local community. He is the co-founder of the annual charity hangar party known as Wheels, Wings, & Fashion. The event was designed to give back to three local charities including Habitat for Humanity, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and The George Snow Scholarship Education Fund. Mr. Castellino’s main focus is to provide his clients with a comprehensive plan for success in their capital raises.

Alex Kowtun

In 2016, Kowtun and two friends founded a top-rated vodka company, Monkey In Paradise Vodka. The brand started off as a social experiment, when Kowtun wondered if colorful plastic monkey cocktail markers would help his party guests better identify their drinks and “break the ice”. The monkey cocktail markers were a hit, helped people “get social” in-person, instead of just on their mobile devices. The social media accounts grew quickly, in an authentic way, marked by exciting lifestyle experiences, and gave birth to the vodka idea. Today, the company has earned Double Gold at International Spirits Competitions worldwide.

While building businesses, Kowtun found a unique way to cultivate markets. As a result, his personal brand grew both on Facebook TikTok and Instagram as he became a trusted Influencer. He used his adrenaline filled activities to create a social media platform full of adventure, which allowed him to segue to unique lifestyle branding. All of his personal accounts are Verified.

Aside from social media, Kowtun’s business ventures and personal adventures have gained the attention of audiences internationally. He is proud to be a contributor to FLYING Magazine and Forbes as part of their Business Development Council. He also writes a lifestyle column, “Living In Paradise,” for Florida Weekly Newspaper. He has been a consistent guest on ABC, NBC, FOX, and ESPN news affiliates to discuss his businesses, branding, and annual charity events.

Kowtun has had a portfolio of aviation, luxury, sport, and lifestyle companies for whom he creates one-of-a-kind content branding for. His dedication and access to aviation has allowed him to segue products and brands into the air. Kowtun and his business partners currently manage the top digital aviation media resources such as @AviationDaily Instagram, which receive millions of impressions per week.

Victor Concepcion

Victor Concepcion has been in the event planning industry for over 10 years and has produced over 100 fashion shows. In February 2011 he exploded on to the scene with the Spring Hair & Fashion Show in West Palm Beach. This 300-person event opened many doors and cemented his name as one of South Florida’s premier event planners.

Concepcion organized events for former Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman and pop culture icon Hulk Hogan. He teamed up with a poker company called JacksHigh to produce a pageant which is still talked about to this day; with one of the winners going on to be a Royal Flush Girl for the World Poker Tour. His most notable fashion show production was for the Women In The Arts event in Miami (WITA). This show was regarded as an “Oscars of South Florida” glamor event featuring over 40 models for 4 elite fashion designers.

Mr. Concepcion has made his mark on events across the country including serving on the Public Relations/Media and Social Media Committee for Sunfest Florida’s largest waterfront music and art festival, organizing 10 days of events at Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah, implementing activations at the Emmys in California, ring announcing MMA events with RIZE Fighting Championships, emceeing at many non-profit events, weddings, and music festivals. His experience led him to expand in branding and marketing; strategically matching his clientele from over the years with the right brands and essentially becoming a brand ambassador for many groups. When looking to launch a grand opening for any business, Victor is the person you call to organize and make that first impression. Mr. Concepcion’s connections and success have ultimately led him to taking on yet another important role in giving back to the community. So far, he has worked with over 20 nonprofits and has been a candidate twice for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Man & Woman of the Year (2013 and 2020).

Victor Concepcion currently works in the equestrian world as the National Polo Center’s Sunday Brunch concierge, is the Founder of I Heart Food & Wine Series dinner pairing events, organizes special events and promotions for bars and restaurants across South Florida, and is an event director for a private jet company. His passion, hustle and love for what he does makes him one of the best in the business. With every major organization calling for his services, Victor wanted to organize events outside of the fashion world which led to the collaboration for Wheels, Wings & Fashion.

Derek Damgaard

As the owner of “Greater Wings” Director of Aircraft Sales, Derek Damgaard has an extensive background in the global luxury industry. Born in the Principality of Monaco, Derek was first introduced to the luxury industry sector via his parents, owners, and operators of the highest destination wedding planning business in the Principality of Monaco and France.

Derek started off his professional career in the South of France immersed in the world of luxury automobile sales and marketing. Spending these years honing his sale techniques and learning how to respond to the needs of high net worth individuals has undoubtedly served him well.

He then used this experience as a springboard into the world of private aviation, when in 2010, he joined a major European Aviation firm as a Charter Broker. With an enthusiastic devotion to his work, strong ethics, and a knack for understanding his clients’ needs, he quickly advanced in the ranks, first becoming Aircraft Charter Manager and then Charter Director.

Thanks to Derek’s industry experience, multilingualism, and successful track record, Derek then transitioned from airplane charters to airplane sales, and in 2016 joined the Global Wings team as Director of Aircraft Sales. Currently, Derek’s name is on speed dial for some of the world’s highest net worth individuals, Fortune 500 regulars, celebrities, and luxury travel agents.

Derek’s upbringing and professional experience mean that he is a true “bon vivant.” His passion for travel and the art of creating one-of-a-kind, exciting experiences for his clients will be evident from the very first time you speak with him. His European roots are never more in display than when the subject pivots to the best restaurants in each major capital or the merits of a particular vintage.

Last but not least, our clients marvel at the depth of Derek’s insider take on Formula 1 racing and everything travel related. Although he left the streets of Monte-Carlo already a few years back, his impressive knowledge and passion for classic and luxury cars will surely never fade.
